I've just finished this drawing of Porthleven at sunset. Really pleased with how it's come out! After having a few requests for a drawing of Watergate Bay I decided to take a trip there to take some photos for inspiration. The surf was a fun 3 foot and there were plenty of surfers out enjoying the waves. Over the last few weeks we've have seen a lot of great weather down here in Cornwall, I just hope it sticks around for the summer months! I took a walk on Porthtowan beach the other evening as the sun set and a handful of surfers enjoyed the playful waves. Here are a few of my favourite photos from that walk.
I've just finished putting up an exhibition of my wave photography at The Rockpool café and bar on the dunes at Godrevy near Hayle. The exhibition features 18 of my photos.
