You can now buy my 'Winter Swell, Porthtowan' oil painting as a fine art print. The painting was inspired by a scene that struck me whilst running on the coast path between Porthtowan Beach and Chapel Porth in Cornwall. The golden afternoon light was casting a strong shadow beneath the cliff as clean waves rolled in out the back. The spray of the waves was illuminated by the low afternoon sun.

I've just released a series of 25 new 'en plein air' paintings, which are now all available to purchase through my website. All the paintings were painted out on the Cornish coast. I love painting in this way, being right there in front of an epic scene and working quickly to capture the light and changing atmosphere is an exhilarating challenge.
