Here are a few highlights from a memorable morning on the south coast of Cornwall back in February this year. Lots of barrels were had hoots were given. I spent close to 8 hours in the water this day and filled a few memory cards with photos. I'll make a separate post of the evening's antics soon.
Yesterday I took my camera with a 50mm lens into the surf at porthtowan, the waves were small but perfectly formed. I love the short depth of field that can be achieved using the 50mm lens. It can be tricky to get the focus and framing right whilst dodging waves but this makes it all the more satisfying when I do get the shot i'm looking for.
