'Commando Ridge, Bosigran' This afternoon I finished this painting of Commando Ridge in West Cornwall. This dramatic rocky outcrop is in my opinion one of the most dramatic features on the Cornish coastline. I climbed to the highest point of the ridge to get this perspective looking across to the popular climbing rocks of Bosigran. Here's a recently completed painting of the cliffs just south of Bedruthan Steps. The tide is low as the waves roll in across the sand and the cliffs cast strong shadows in the morning light. I worked in acrylics with brushes and a palette knife to create surface textures.Find out more about purchasing this painting by clicking here.
Something a little different this time. A semi-abstract aerial view of Cligga, I wild, inaccessible cove between Perranporth and St Agnes in Cornwall. I really enjoyed the change in style and technique used on this piece.Find out more about the original painting here.
